Https Card — Internet Identity Card Ltd develops and publishes software. The Internet Identity Card generator operates entirely on the device of the person or organisation using it.
The generator requires no server and transmits nothing. Https Card does not receive, store, or have any technical means of access to identity data or to cards produced with it. Https Card does not issue Internet Identity Cards and has no technical capacity to do so.
The generator application is not publicly downloadable. It is provided to organisations through a controlled onboarding process. Https Card does not make it available to members of the public or to individual end users, and does not issue Internet Identity Cards itself.
Where an organisation uses the generator to produce cards, that organisation issues them under its own authority and remains responsible for its own decisions, including whom it issues to, on what basis, and under which legal framework. Https Card is not party to those decisions and has no means of observing them.
These statements describe the architecture of the software, which is documented in the published Technical Specification and Engineering Specification and can be verified by inspecting the application, which is a single self-contained file with no network access.
IIC TSA and VerifBox are different. Unlike the generator, the IIC TSA time-stamping service is an online service operated by Https Card: it receives the hash of a file (never the file), signs it with a key the company controls, and keeps an issuance log. VerifBox is an online service of the same company that time-stamps files for its users and relies on IIC TSA among other anchors. The statements above about the generator do not apply to those two services; each has its own terms and privacy information (IIC TSA, VerifBox ↗).
