Local storage in the IIC application

The Internet Identity Card ™ generator uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to save your encrypted identity data on your device. This data:

• Stays on your device only
• Is encrypted with AES-256-GCM
• Is not transmitted anywhere
• Can be cleared by you at any time via your browser settings

Local storage is not subject to cookie consent because it is initiated by you (the user) for the purpose of saving your own data.
